I'm not pleased.

I moved to WordPress about a week ago and have up until this point been very happy.

Until tonight.

I published a post.  It’s gone.  Completely gone.  No record of it in my dashboard, no sign of it actually have been published.

It wasn’t a masterpiece, but it was something I worked on for a a week or so.  And I’m pretty pissed that it’s just gone. Something that NEVER happened while I was on Blogger.

Sorry, just had to vent.

Try digging through your MySQL database to see if there is any record of such even around…or perhaps it went as “unpublished” and is stuffed somewhere in your dashboard? Shoot me an e-mail and I’ll gladly try to help you with whatever I can.

Sorry for your loss! Despite the great leaps in technology and modern day computing…shit still happens kind of randomly sometimes… :(

This is the sole reason I create my blog posts on my computer (locally) first, then I upload or copy/paste the post to my blog.
I use Windows Live Writer mostly to create and/or publish my posts. I don’t really use the WP editor.
And I use Microsoft One Note for actually creating the blog post. So I have a copy of it in 2 places actually. LOl
Sorry for your lost post! I’ll bet it was a good one.

I use Live writer too(though for blogger–it works for most platforms…).

I love live writer, and wouldn’t live without it now!
