The frickin’ groundhog saw his shadow again.
I happen to know a few people who are upset about this. Just a few. Myself included.
So I was thinking… Who’s up for some target practice? I have it on good authority that someone’s willing to concoct something tasty out of groundhog. I’m sure that Phil’s replacement will get the message and maybe start promising us an early spring once in awhile.

Oh you scare me…poor Phil doesn’t really see his shadow, he’s just trying to get away from those crazy old white men who dragged him out of hibernation 6 weeks too soon! He’d take a bite out of them if he thought they were tasty!

Trust me, you’ll be more than ready to shoot every friggin’ groundhog you see once they start digging up around your foundation. Which then leads to your basement flooding…
Of course I couldn’t *kill* them – Mrs. G. thought they were “cute”. So I was reduced to pegging them in the south-bound end with a .177 pellet.
Did you know a groundhog can jump over 4′ in the air?
