Most of the time my paperwork isn't even started because I'd rather sit beside my patient and talk and laugh with them. I do ask them the pertinent questions about their current condition, but it fits into the conversation. I hate looking like the paperwork is more important and I hate sitting behind them in the captain's seat. Great post!
