[...] The Happy Medic tells a not so happy tale in two letters about a confessed child killer working as an EMT and then asks a question that appeals to the anarchist in me … should doctors really still run the EMS show? Kim at Emergiblog takes a hilarious walk down memory lane and tells us about games people play. Some things never change. Finally, EpiJunky at Pink, Warm and Dry reminds us all what memorial day is all about with a personal reflection about a family member, my cousin, my hero. [...]

This was a very rewarding, well written post, to read...I for one salute and honour all the men and woman that fight for the freedom of others and are brave enough to do so. We shall always remember them...Thank you for this.

The country is going to pot.
No one wants to take responsibility for screwing up...
"I was abused as a child."
Yet the country still produces men like Chris.
Thank you for introducing him. Thank you Chris for your willingness to be our sword and shield.

Memorial day was set aside to remember men who gave all defending the freedoms our present leadership is steadily taking away. Paraphrasing what General Patton said...
We shouldn't grieve the loss of these warriors, we should rejoice that they lived and shouldered the burden.
Remember them. Honor them. And be glad there are men like "Weiner" who rise above expectations so you're no longer comfortable denigrating them.
God Bless 'em all.

I am honestly without words but feel a strong urge to comment.

I have the utmost respect for anyone in the Service. God Bless America!

And...as always...thank you for sharing this. I'm praying for Chris and everyone else in his position right now.
