(I’ve been working on this post for over a week now and I’ve finally come to the conclusion that I’m never, ever going to be able to convey what I’m really feeling… Keeping that in mind, here’s what I’ve got. As someone who is too stubborn to allow her partner to buy her a soda, this has been more than a little overwhelming.)
To everyone who has been so gracious with their positive thoughts, prayers, money, etc…
I’m in.
I’m enrolled. My books and the first 1.5 months of tuition are bought and paid for thanks to all of you.
Consider yourselves permanently added to my Christmas card list. I’m still not sure what to say, honestly. Just thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m without words. If there is ever anything I can do for any of you, don’t hesitate to find me. The shirt off my back is yours.
Thank you.
From the bottom of my sparky little heart.
All of my love,
Epijunky

Studying for the first quiz of the year.
Just… Thank you.

I’m glad to hear that school is going well, and can’t think of a more deserving person.
No need to thank me. You’ve earned it. :)
:)
Go get’em Gurl!
We’re all excited for you.
Says it all! Good job Epi!
Keep up the awesome work!
I remember reading that chapter, too….
And – in a couple of weeks we’ll be able to commiserate about working and going to school at the same time. Class starts for me a week from Friday.
XO – Walt
No thanks needed.
Study. Learn.
Do amazing things. :)
Woo-hoo! Good luck hun :)
Can’t think of anyone who deserves this more than you!
{{{ HUGS }}} I am so happy for you!

Yay, Epi! I’m so excited for you – you will do great things. Glad I could help a little bit. Congratulations!
Epi – go forth, kick ass, take names. Be the paramedic that you were meant to be – be it funny, serious or some mystical combination of the two – but no matter what, always learn and always teach.
Go get em’ Epi, and remember, everybody who donated has received something far more valuable than a few bucks…you are inspirational to a lot of people. Just one of your posts is worth more than I donated.
You owe us nothing, thank you.
I just wanted to add something more.
This past weekend, I had the pleasure of doing a 3rd ride with Epi. I’m not even an EMT or an EMT student, but she knew I had interest in the profession and she saw to it that I got to ride with her at least one time.
On a simple level, she is the type of person they need in this field. On a more complex level, she goes above and beyond.
She truly cares. She is an advocate and an amazing caregiver. She’s sharp, precise, and witty.
Everything she writes about how she deals with her patients is true. I’ve seen it first-hand. I was impressed.
Man you’re so right Trauma Junkie. We need people who go up and beyond. In fact those people should be hand picked for EMS and everyone else can go become a nurse.
WTG Epi! Congratulations on getting to medic school.
