….among things that are not cool to do.
It’s not cool to text a coworker and let them know that your brand new partner just hit a pole with your even newer ambulance at the local ER.
Even if more people than you can count have hit the same yellow pole, including yourself and several folks you respect the hell out of.
I’m sorry, Boy Wonder. I unintentionally threw you under the bus.
I know I told you this, several times, in fact, don’t let that diminish my message. It’s damn near a right of passage to hit a post at this ER. It’s REALLY okay.
What was not ok was me telling anyone about it before you had the chance. What happens in the truck stays in the truck and all that.
I failed you in that respect, and I’m sorry.

Ouch! Lesson learned I hope!;-)
Well…well…well… you know, we all have those momentary lapses in judgement. It’s the human condition. But on the bright spot, at least you fessed up to it. Too many of the folks I have worked with would throw you under the bus and then shrugged about it when asked- “Ionknow”.
“What happens in the truck stays in the truck and all that.”
I like that. I’ll have to quote you on that one. I like the “all that” at the end.
Have a good one.

Sounds like this one rates right up there with several of us and crews texting and sending photos of a EMT who stopped to fuel and drove off with the pump handle and hose still in the truck and didn’t know it until they got to base! that went round the state faster that someone falling and slipping on the ice and that’s fast considering we’re still up to our eyeballs in ice
Ouch… on both counts…
