Soo…

Anyone else feeling a little old?

Anyone else have a back that feels like it’s 33 going on 105?

Anyone else sick and tired of feeling sick and effing tired?

Anyone else so wound up from school, and work, and life in general that they want to just throw something?  Or go out for some recoil therapy?  Or tell off a coworker?

It’s been one of those days.

The good news?

Yes, there is actually good news.

I have a new job with a new service.  *Does the happy dance*

The rest… yeah. Been having some of those days. A lot of crap been going on for a while, but there just might be light at the end of the tunnel.

Write about the new job when you get a chance?

CONGRATS on the new job girl! and yes, as another classmate and I were just discussing at lunch a few minutes ago- we feel incredibly old! I think it must be a by-product of medic school other than stress, weight loss/gain and general insanity!

Yay for the new job, glad to hear. And… feeling like I am about 125 today – i wish I felt 33…
And I am sure I will be in bed by 9:30 tonight – there I go again – such an old lady at heart!

Allow me to echo the above. Congrats on the new job. You already know I think you’re amazing, and you’ll show the new folks what makes a great EMT, and soon, a great medic. :)

And yes Epi, I feel like hammered shit most days. And yes, I’m feeling older than I am. Laying on a cold, wet concrete floor, intubating a rubber head kinda wears on you. (They do it to make it seem more realistic… but it still sucks.) I have aches in places where i never had aches before.

Ah, sounds like the cry of a medic student. Don’t worry; it’ll pay off in the end.

    Congrats on the new nyob.

Recoil therapy. I might just need to indulge in some of that this weekend.

HA! I have you all beat on the bedtime issue- 8:30 last night and could’ve slept longer than 7am today had family let me! Oh, the side effects of medic school!

Ya know…one day you’re 15 going on 80 and the next you’re 33 going on 105. Lol. You have an interesting life.

    CONGRATS on the job!

Congrats on the job! As to your other questions- yes. A resounding yes. Of course, I take a few deep breaths, realize it could be worse (well it could be, couldn’t it?). What I would like to do is more than tell off the occassional co-worker, family member, or police officer.

    But….

“33 going on 105″? More like 51 going on 151.

    Have a good one!

    *walks in the door*

    *holds up a weary-tired body*
We all feel like that someday
