My son just told me today that a fellow student in his class has been strangling him in the bathroom on potty breaks and that it happened again just this friday. He said this has gone on since school started!!!And I just find out now! I'll be shlepping to the school Monday to find out how this can happen! Chin up! You are SuperWoman! Even if you don't particularly feel like it! Your son is lucky to have a mom who stands up for him. We lost a pilot last month and 3 of us are doing the work of four... Makes prioritizing REAL important. Bill paying, no fun- I know, must pretty much be put at the top of that list. My son was a head taller than most of his classmates, but a gentle soul. When the bullies realized they could push him around with no fear of retrubution they started hounding him. After three or four "consults" with school administrators I realized I'd eventually be hearing my kid was found with multiple fractures at the bottom of the the long stairway. I took him out of the public school system and enrolled him in a local Christian school... Absolutely the BEST decision I ever made! He's 26 now and I attribute much of his success to the fact he was able to spend those years without fear, focused on his studies. Yeah, sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day. Absolutely the BEST decision I ever made!
